Anthony John Soprano, Sr. (born 1959), was a New Jersey mob boss who ran the Soprano crime family in Newark and Clifton.
Early life[]
Tony was born on August 24, 1959 in Newark, New Jersey. He was childhood friends with Jackie Aprile, Silvio Dante, Paulie and Ralph Cifaretto, Chris Moltisanti and Tony Blundetto.
Crimnal life[]
He first became an associate in
Killing Ralphie[]
After the death of the horse, Tony suspected that Ralph had killed it by setting the horse stables on fire. He went to his house and confronted Ralph about it but he lost control and fought Ralph, yelling at him for killing the horse/stripper. Moments after he killed him, hitmen sent by Gyp Rosetti to kill Ralph entered the house to find Tony next to his body; they told Tony they wouldn't say a word about seeing him and left.
Chris showed up and helped clean up the house and dismember the body. They then duh a hole out in the country, burying him.

He's married with two kids.
Retirement[]
He retired in 2021, soon after the death of Bugsy Erikson. Erikson's death was a factor in his retirement having seeing that even if you're one of the most powerful men in the world there was always someone more powerful to take you down; also he had medical problems and felt he was getting too old for it.
